Macro Pool - Classic Pool with Planets | Play Online for Free
Ditch the pool hall for the stars in Macro-Pool. Use the Moon to launch planets into black holes, master shifting gravity FX, and chase high scores in this celestial physics puzzler.
Billiards on a Galactic Scale
Most pool games are about felt tables and steady hands, but Macro-Pool swaps the smoky basement for the vast vacuum of space. It’s a physics-based puzzler where gravity is your best friend (and sometimes your worst enemy). Instead of sinking a striped seven-ball, you’re using the Moon as a celestial cue ball to knock entire planets into ravenous black holes. It’s strangely satisfying to see a gas giant get swallowed by a singularity just because you lined up a bank shot off the edge of the solar system.
How to Play
The core loop is simple to grasp but tricky to master. You aren't just hitting balls; you’re managing Planetary FX, which are special modifiers that change how the physics behave.
- Classic Mode: This is the strategic thinker’s playground. The active "FX" modifier is determined by which planet is currently closest to your Moon. If you want a specific effect, you have to position your shot so the Moon ends up near the right planet for the next turn.
- Time Attack: If Classic is a chess match, Time Attack is a scramble. The modifiers rotate randomly every five seconds. You have to be quick on the draw, shooting before a helpful low-gravity buff turns into something much more difficult to manage.
The goal in both modes is the same: rack up the highest score possible before you run out of moves or time. Learning how each planet reacts to the Moon’s impact is key to clearing the screen and setting a new record.
Controls
The controls are minimalist, keeping the focus on your aim and power levels. It feels very much like a traditional touch-or-click pool game, but with a bit more weight to the movement.
- Aiming: Move your Mouse around the Moon to find your line.
- Power/Shooting: Hold Left-Click to build up your shot power. When the meter looks right, Release to send the Moon flying.
- Canceling: If you realize your power is too high or your angle is off, just drag your cursor back over the Moon before letting go to cancel the shot.
- Checking Modifiers: Hover your cursor over the Moon to highlight which planet is currently "linked" for the next FX change.
- Quitting: If a run is going south and you want to reset, Hold Right-Click for 3 seconds to return to the main menu.
