Sudo K.O. - Fill Sudoku to Fight Against Monsters
Battle monsters using the power of logic in Sudo K.O.! Solve 9x9 Sudoku puzzles to defeat enemies, collect rare loot, and climb the global leaderboards in this unique RPG-puzzle hybrid.
A Tactical Battle of Logic
If you’ve ever felt like standard Sudoku lacked "stakes," Sudo K.O. is the wake-up call you didn't know you needed. It takes the classic Japanese logic puzzle and wraps it in a high-stakes dungeon crawler skin. Instead of just filling out a grid to pass the time, you’re filling it out to survive. Every number you place is effectively a strike against a monster, and every mistake is a hit to your own HP. It’s a clever mashup that turns a relaxing mental exercise into a tense battle for loot and leaderboard dominance. The loop is simple but addictive: solve faster, hit harder, and try not to crumble under the pressure as the difficulty spikes.
How to Play
The core loop revolves around clearing 9x9 grids to defeat waves of enemies. As you progress, the monsters get tougher, requiring more efficient solving to take them down before they get the best of you.
- Solve to Attack: Completing sections of the board triggers your attacks. The more fluid your solving, the better your chances of staying ahead of the monster's damage output.
- Gear and Loot: Defeating enemies drops loot that helps power up your character, making it easier to tackle the increasingly brutal puzzles in later stages.
- The Leaderboard Grind: This isn't just a solo run. Your performance is tracked on a global leaderboard, so there’s a real incentive to refine your speed and accuracy.
Controls
The interface is designed to keep your focus on the logic, not the UI. It’s snappy enough for speed-running but precise enough to avoid accidental "misclicks" that could cost you the run.
- Mouse/Touch: Click or tap a cell to select it.
- Number Keys (1-9): Input your chosen digit into the selected cell.
- Notes/Pencil Mode: Use the designated hotkey (usually Shift or a toggle icon) to mark potential candidates when the logic gets fuzzy.
- Clear/Backspace: Remove a digit if you realize you’ve made a tactical error.
